John Has Gone to be with JesusOn September 12, 2010 John Miller graduated to Heaven. He exchanged his mortal body for a life far more glorious!
A.L. and Joyce Gill write:John Miller, together with his wife Glenna have for many years been our very close friends. They have spent much time with us in our home. They have been there for us through many of the hard times in our lives. Their prayers, counsel, humor, and friendship have been a continuous strength through these years. They were also known and loved by many who came to our Mountain Top Encounters. So many lives have been changed through their powerful, effective ministry, and through their Taking the Land materials, seminars and personal ministry times. John’s departure for heaven has left a large empty place in our hearts, but we can only rejoice at the glorious, full life he now has with the Lord. The apostle Paul’s words resound in our spirits: “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” and “For us to live is Christ, but to die is gain.”
Dennis & Lynnie Walker write: John and Glenna have been very close to Lynnie and I for a long time. We have traveled to other countries together, enduring hardships and experiencing God's miracles. We have shared our home with them for close to 7 years and in all of that time I can't remember a single time of discord. John has been a sounding board for me during tough times, and a tremendous resource for wisdom and insight. They lift a heavy load through their "Taking the Land" seminars. I have seen so much fruit in their lives that I can't even begin to list it all. John leaves a big void in our hearts... We had a wonderful celebration service in honor of John Miller’s life. The worship was full of joy, at Glenna’s request, since she knew this is what John would want. We sang some of John’s favorite songs, including “We Will Dance on the Streets That are Golden.” It was wonderful to see John’s five-year-old granddaughter join the dance up front as she waved a couple of small flags. We all then sang “Great is Thy Faithfulness” and the glory and presence of God tangibly filled the place.
